Join us at the AF for a cheap, cheerful and creative Christmas weekend, with crafty workshops, bargain designer gifts, and DIY stocking fillers. You can drink till you’re merry whilst enjoying festive fare from our friends at Flour Power City Bakery and Coleman Coffee. In the holiday spirit, you’ll be giving gifts that last well beyond Christmas: all proceeds of these festivities will support the AF’s exhibition programme for 2012.

To celebrate our third winter in the AF Project Space, we have commissioned a new tote bag by up-and-coming textile designer Alex Mullins, combining architectural drawing with a bold print. It’s yours for only £6 - we’ll be wearing ours with pride. Plus, we’ll be launching a brand new window graphic for the Project Space by designer Helios Capdevila.

“Extra special signed editions!”
We’ll have one-off signed copies of new books from Pedro Gadanho, Bompas & Parr, the Urban Age project, George L. Legendre, and Elias Redstone for sale, plus limited edition prints by the likes of Simon Fujiwara, Jamie Fobert and Carmody Groarke. Perfectly formed presents for all!

“Bargains to treasure forever!”
Browse The AF’s 20-year back catalogue or fill a bag with books and other goodies from our jumble rack. Wrap and give, or stock your own library in anticipation of that perennial New Year’s resolution to read more.

“Discount gift memberships for your nearest and dearest!”
We will be offering AF memberships for 2012 at a special gift rate, bringing you or your loved ones invites to previews and special events plus discounted tickets year-round. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

“Upcycled card and gift making for a thrifty Christmas!”
Come along to free weekend workshops where we’ll help you create your own Christmas cards, decorations and pressies to take away. ‘Tis the season to be thrifty!
