New Architects: UK Exhibition at Oslo Architecture Triennale

25 September - 2 October 2010

Continuing The Architecture Foundation's UK-Norway exchange for emerging architects, three UK-based architecture practices - Adam Khan Architects, Gort Scott and Hackett Hall McKnight will display work as part of the 4th Oslo International Architecture Triennale.

As part of a project called 'Man Made Community', the architects will be proposing conceptual designs for a new meeting place on the ground floor of Grønlandsleiret 53, the Church City Mission's new house for the homeless.

During the Triennale, the AF's international exchange partners Norsk Form will open the ground floor of Grønlandsleiret 53 as a temporary gallery and project space, highlighting the process that they are facilitating related to the Church City Mission's future project. In complement, Norsk Form will host a series of activities seeking to highlight challenges concerning social awareness in urban development, city planning and policy making.
