Open Call: Curate the British Pavilion 2020

There is just over a month left to send in your applications for the British Council's Open Call to curate the British Pavilion at the next Architecture Biennale in Venice. The open call is an opportunity for a cross-disciplinary team, headed by a curator, to propose an exhibition that tells a story of contemporary British architecture to an international audience.

Teams must include a curator but can also include architects, researchers, writers, artists and critics.

The call for proposals comes earlier than usual, with no overall theme set as yet by the lead curator, Hashim Sarkis, who has been the Dean of the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 2015.

The deadline for applications is 18 February 2019.
