If You Build It, Will They Come? Limited tickets remain

Join us at Tate Modern on Monday 15 April for the instalment of our If You Build It, Will They Come? series, which will see leading architects and experts present three of the world's most anticipated urban cultural projects. The international panel will explore and critique the importance of art and culture in the global city, and the role that architecture and art can play in affecting civic society.

Through discussion and presentation of Ateliers Jean Nouvel's forthcoming Louvre Abu Dhabi at Saadiyat Island (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), Foster + Partner's West Kowloon Cultural District(Hong Kong, People’s Republic of China) and WORKac's New Holland Island (St. Petersburg, Russian Federation), the event will examine the design, ambition and significance of these forthcoming cultural destinations, and debate the logic of the cultural institution as an urban agent.

Limited number of tickets remain: book early to avoid disappointment.

Speakers:
Marina Barber, Iris New Holland
Aric Chen, M+ Museum
Spencer de Grey, Foster + Partners
Edwin Heathcote, Financial Times
Hala Wardé, Ateliers Jean Nouvel
