This year's Serpentine Pavilion is being designed by Africa's pre-eminent architect Francis Kéré. Speaking at the nearby Royal Geographical Society, Kéré will discuss current projects including the Opera Village in his native Burkino Faso.

Kéré is currently based between Berlin and Gando, the village where he grew up and began his practice, delivering their first school as his diploma project in 2004.
