Urban Pioneers
The Architecture Foundation's Urban Pioneers education programme engages teams of 16-19 year olds in areas of cities undergoing dramatic change. Young people are empowered to critically explore the transformations happening around them and develop new skills through a series of workshops with professionals including architects, engineers, film makers, artists, designers and writers.

Between The Bridges Urban Pioneers
June - September 2009Summer 2009's Urban Pioneers project looked at the architecture along the south bank of the Thames between Blackfriars and Tower bridges. Pioneers took part in illustration, engineering, radio production, planting, mapping, filmmaking and urban design workshops, and documented the project via the blog on their new website.
