Bankside BikeShed: Exhibition
7-11 March 2011Better Bankside Community Space
Following an international design competition, organised by the The Architecture Foundation, a selection of entries to design a modular, portable and secure cycle parking solution for the Better Bankside Business Improvement District will be exhibited at Better Bankside Community Space from 7-11 March 2011. The winning entry is to be built as a prototype in May 2011.
The competition forms part of Better Bankside's ‘Smart Green Business strategy' - a new EU-funded project to improve local businesses' environmental performance.
Entries will be selected by a Jury including: Deborah Saunt, Director, DSDHA; Ashok Sinha, Chief Executive, London Cycling Campaign; Sarah Ichioka, Director, The Architecture Foundation and Jonathan Bell Architecture Editor, Wallpaper* magazine.
Exhibition dates: 7 - 11 March, Monday - Friday 10am-6pm. Free Entry
