Winter Nights 2008: New York
January - February 2008
In August 2007 The Architecture Foundation launched an international exchange programme for emerging architects in London and New York. Six British practices showcased their talents stateside at an exhibition, New Practices London in association with the AIA New York Chapter's Center for Architecture.
For Winter Nights their Big Apple counterparts, all of whom were featured in a previous exhibition curated by the AIA, New Practices New York, complete this transatlantic exchange with a series of talks in London for The Architecture Foundation. The events in turn were chaired by the London practices that participated in the exchange programme.
The aim of the Winter Nights series is to provide a platform for exciting, emerging practices to communicate their ideas, thoughts and ambitions for the future, and present their existing commissions.
