Friday Late on the South Bank

LFA2008 and The Architecture Foundation brought together the cultural institutions along the River Thames for a special Friday evening event. A programme of public events took place along the river, from the Hayward Gallery's 40th anniversary celebrations to the Design Museum exhibition Richard Rogers + Architects: From the House to the City.

Activities include films at the BFI South Bank; live installations at the National Theatre; dance performances at the Toby Paterson-designed pavilion in Potters Fields; live music in the Scoop at More London; artist films in the H-Box designed by Didier Fiuza Faustino at Tate Modern; live installations in Borough Market; talks; performances; DJs and much more.

The London Festival of Architecture 2008’s Southwark & South Bank Hub was curated by The Architecture Foundation to include a stellar programme focused around the week of 9-13 July, including French architecture collective EXYZT's temporary Southwark Lido.
