How Places Work

The Architecture Foundation works with schools across London to encourage young people to become more skilled in understanding architecture as well as raising the aspirations young people have for their environment. Now in its second year, the project How Places Work is a collaboration between the Comission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and the national Architecture Centre Network.

This year's visits included the Serpentine Pavilion, Wembley Stadium, the Roundhouse and the Laban, involving architects such as Simon Allford and Julia Barfield.

Find out more about the programme in 2007.
