One of the most revered architecture practices, New York-based architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro continued to be at the avant-garde of architectural practice, with wide-ranging interests from electronic media to cultural theory. The recently inaugurated Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston was a perfect example of their innovative approach to architecture. The ambitious and inspirational building acts as a hub for cultural activity and an urban haven for local residents and visitors. Comprised of 18,000 square feet of galleries, a performing arts theatre, a restaurant, a bookshop, education/workshop facilities and administrative offices, it was a dynamic new civic building that set a precedent for future architectural endeavours in the creative sector.

Liz Diller, Principle of Diller Scofidio + Renfro presented the project. The conversation was chaired by Andrea Phillips.
