Helen Jones (in collaboration with Nina Berkowitz and Andrew Cross), a "petrol station historian", displayed a new video exhibition with additional photographs and scale models of the best petrol stations as part of her It's a Gas exhibition. Having written a thesis on the subject during her architecture studies, Jones hoped it would make people look more closely at their built environment and the unique architecture of petrol stations, engendering in the UK the same level of fascination and cult following found in American autophilia.

A guide to visiting London's petrol stations by public transport was also produced, and can be downloaded via the Resources tab.
