With sites in Manchester, Hackney and Peckham, Europan 6 addressed the theme of 'In between cities'. The international competition was open to individuals and teams of registered architects under 40.

Witherford Watson Mann won the Peckham competition, Amin Taha and Richard Markland took the prize for Manchester and the best Hackney scheme was judged to be by Michael Kirsch and Philippe Haag.
