Emotional Storage: muf architecture/art

27 January - 14 March 1999
  • muf's Future Southwark commission

The exhibition showed a review of urban scale, community interaction projects produced by muf architecture/art from 1996 to 1999.

The projects shown in the exhibition focused on muf's unconventional approach to client-architect relations, which led to strong design ideas that reflect community interest. The projects exhibited were:  Southwark Street regeneration (a result of the AF's 1996 Future Southwark initiative), a public art commission for Stoke on Trent City Council (street furniture), a public art commission for Hackney Council (digital mapping of local people's desires and expectations), and a partnership with Scarman Trust in the City of Birmingham.

The Architecture Foundation, 30 Bury Street, London SW1
