The exhibition illustrated the projects realised for the New Deal for Communities project in West Ham and Plaistow. Half the show was concerned with West Ham and Plaistow's vision for the future, drawn up by the architects Fluid and Maccreanor Lavington. Shillam and Smith's helter-skelter at Barking road was shown, as well as FAT architects' proposal for Forest Gate.
