AF Competition: Stratford Kiosks Site Visit

The AF has arranged a site visit, which will be an opportunity to view the site and ask questions relating to the competition. Led by Design for London, attending will be representatives of The Architecture Foundation, the London Borough of Newham and Studio Egret West.

The (Temporary) Museum of Stratford, one of the AF's key projects for the High Street 2012 weekend of the London Festival of Architecture 2010, has been extended to run until Sunday 1 August.

The Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of an open international competition to design a permanent group of kiosks in Meridian Square, Stratford, London, for use before, during and after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Inaugural Silver Pigeon Award winner announced

The inaugural Silver Pigeon Award has been awarded to the Embassy of Japan for the strength of their project in the International Architecture Showcase 2010 with their exhibition 'IE ≈ Home', involving work by young Japanese architects working in London: Hiroki Kakizoe, Masaki Kakizoe, Akira Kindo, Tokuichiro Oba, and Michiko Sumi.
