The Upper Lee Valley Urban Pioneers go to Rotterdam
With the kind support of the Netherlands Architecture Institute, the Upper Lee Valley Urban Pioneers have just returned from a European study trip to Rotterdam.
They've been boating and biking around the city lookng at the relationship between water and the built environment; gone on a arcihtectural history tour by Archiguides; visited the offices of Maccreanor Lavington; and got stuck into workshops about waterfronts.
There will be a celebration event for the project on Monday 4 October where you can see all the work they've been producing. If you'd like to attend please email tom@architecturefoundation.org.uk for more information.
In the meantime, keep track of what they get up to on their blog: www.urbanpioneers.org.uk/upperleevalley
