Building Design and the AF have joined forces to create an international ideas competition for Robin Hood Gardens, the celebrated and controversial housing development by Alison and Peter Smithson in east London.
Robin Hood Gardens is currently threatened with demolition. The aim of the competition is to find creative ways of retaining the existing buildings while also allowing an intensification of the site.
