Old Street is a complex reality made of night life and everyday life.

If the former does not quitre need improvement, certainly the latter does.

We believe the problem is conceptually constituted by two main issues. The first is the roundabout, which blocks the natural flow to shoreditch, thus leaving the subject area detached from the rest of the urban system. The second problem is the lack of a real integration with the surrounding areas, located behind the building blocks North of the site.

Practically, this situation leads to a piazza with the characteristics of a no-man's land, left to its destiny,polluted by smog as well as unbearable noise.

From this our solution articulatedinto two main elements: the Streettheatre and the Surrealistic Garden.
